These are truly extraordinary times we’re living in, but do not be a passive observer. The radical Left is in the “House” and are drunk with perceived power. Nearly an entire generation have been duped into believing that the very nation, which protects their individual and collective rights like no other in human history, is somehow evil and must be destroyed. Mind you, the world of academia and a complicit news media have been selling the Saul Alinsky playbook page by page for decades, however we are only now witnessing the breathtaking ignorance born of their efforts. Moreover, the disease of progressive liberalism is infecting more and more of those in America who no longer embrace the concept of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. As a result, powerful people and so-called “journalists” are even attacking our children without cause and attempting to validate their twisted positions with falsehoods and “fake news”, which they’ve even stopped trying to defend. Truth is the new hate speech.
In the end, “We the People”, who hold fast to the tenets of the founding documents and the freedom outlined in them, are charged with securing that freedom for our posterity, armed only the weapons of truth and reason.
So as we witness the unprecedented foolishness going on in DC, as well as the assault on the boys of Covington Catholic High School, it remains our most important responsibility to get the facts and reject the outrageous and frankly dangerous ignorance of folks like Rep. Ilhan Omar, (D-MN) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who clearly don’t understand this country, how or why it was founded and why we must defend the simple principles for which it stands.
